Mr. Bennet is a physician who is hired by Lady Catherine de Bourgh to care for her sick daughter. The entire Bennet family relocates to Rosings Park and subsequently comes under complete control of Catherine, who orders that Elizabeth marry Wickham and forbids her to speak to Darcy.
